Greg Ross

began as a collection of Gregory Ross Veltkamp’s craftman and artist curiosity—perhaps this odd or end, paired with that one could become the coolest freaking living room light you’ve ever seen.

With a vast and ever-expanding knowledge of woodworking, carpentry, metal and mineral craftsmanship combined with a love for handwork and fine arts, Greg concocts pieces with wonder and excitement for the history of the materials and an eye for the fanciful.

What began as a hobby—filling his Vermont house and barn with lamps, chairs, antlers, motorcycle motors, and church pews—has become a business filled with passion and a desire to revive and reinvigorate beautiful relics of the past.

Greg grew up romping around the mountains of Alaska, and has spent years out west, down south, and for the recent years in Vermont. His work evokes a love of the rugged and a home-cooked warmth, giving each piece he makes a well-loved and nostalgic character.
